• MAY 29 Fri WIAA D1 Sectionals — DC Everest — 1600m 5th place · 4:34.76 · HS track season finale · mid-80s heat Gave everything in the heat. Finished 5th in 4:34.76 — just didn’t quite have it, a tough end to my season. Going to look at it all to come back better than before. MSUB is next. Weston, WI
• MAY 26 Tue WIAA D1 Regional 1B — DC Everest — 1600m 3rd place (qualifies) · 4:39.72 · Tactical position race · advances to Sectionals Ran for place not a PR — Of the 4 spots that advance, SPASH grabbed 3 of them! Storm rolled in after the mile postponing the rest of the meet til tomorrow, glad we were able to get the 1600 in as Friday is Sectionals! • MAY 18 Mon WVC Outdoor Conference Championships — 1600m 5:13.85 · Finished after mid-race stomach spasms A nightmare on the track, the stomach started to let loose into dry heaves at 900 and again at 1300. Had to recover in the infield. Didn’t want a DNF—stayed in and finished in 5:13.85. Wausau, WI

• MAR 28 Sat Ripon Showcase — 4×800m relay (anchor leg) 2nd place (team) · 8:15.69 · ~2:05 anchor split Split around 2:05—way short of what I was hoping for. My legs just didn't have it today, felt the fatigue in the final 400m. Although we don't taper for early season racing, I really wish I had been able to give more for the guys there. • APR 4 Sat SPASH Distance Carnival — 800m (Championship heat) 4th of 179 · 2:02.30 · 800m field · indoor PR Solid rebound from Ripon’s anchor leg—legs were fresher. Got out a little soft and paid for it in traffic, but closed well enough for fourth. Legs responded better today—feeling good about the training. • MAY 5 Tue WVC Relays @ Goerke Field — 4×800m / 4×400m / DMR DNS — illness Picked up a cold after Hale and wasn’t able to line up. Frustrating timing, but protecting the rest of the season was the right call. Stevens Point, WI
• MAY 8 Fri Madison Memorial Invitational DNS — illness Cold symptoms held on through the week. Sat this one out to focus on getting healthy before the final stretch of the season — WVC Conference and postseason are what matter. Madison, WI
• MAY 11 Mon Rosholt Triangular — 1600m 4:32 · First race back after illness · controlled effort First race back after the cold. Ran 4:32 with the throttle held — lungs were still tight under race load even though the legs felt good. Smart restraint with WVC Conference and the postseason ahead. Rosholt, WI
